STEEL ESTIMATING SERVICE
Speed and Accuracy
The provision of Steel Estimating Services are relatively new to IndeSteel. Over the past few years we have noticed an increase in demand for a fast and accurate turnaround of material listing for client pricing purposes. Our aim by providing this service is to give our clients the edge when pricing works on their own behalf. We do this by modelling the structure in our 3D software from Engineering drawings and calculations. We are then able to provide material lists that are accurate and complete thus ensuring the price of the steelwork at tender stage is precise.
LIGHT GUAGE STEEL DETAILING
Structures are evolving
The way buildings are constructed has been evolving over the past 10 years and a relatively recent newcomer to the construction sector is structural light gauge metal framing. Manufactured by many of the leading cold rolled steel companies this system involves the manufacture and factory assembly of light gauge panels which are factory build and then lifted and bolted into place on site, quickly forming the structural walls of a building ensuring factory QS and reduced site time.
Here at IndeSteel we appreciate and recognise this new trend in building and we have undertaken the drawing office detailing package for a variety of contracts on behalf of one of the UK's leading firms in this market.
